Inspired by the legendary Sinhá

Olímpia — a folkloric figure from

the hills of Ouro Preto — this work

gently and ironically revisits the

feminine universe, woven with

memory,

theatricality,

and

resilience. The 1960s cane guides

the viewer’s eye through layers of

time, while the adornments evoke

the

free-spirited

and

performative

essence

of

this

character

who,

navigating

between invented stories and

hidden truths, made the city her

stage

and

oral

tradition

her

legacy.
